TeamViewer - one of Europe’s fastest growing software companies - will become only the fifth shirt sponsor in United’s history and replace Chevrolet, whose seven-year deal expires this summer and was worth the equivalent of around £51m a year. The deal is worth about £47 million per season - similar to the contract Barcelona struck with Rakuten in 2016 - and is the largest sponsorship arrangement of any kind secured by a sports team during the pandemic.
